im hindsight im extremely glad weve split up. the breakup was on the face of it worse for me than you but i guess you always had an agenda that i was fooled with. wether i was right or not will always be a mystery. a mystery i am not keen to find out or quite frankly do i care about. the whole relationship was flawed from the start and i forced myself at the time to believe in it through wanting it to work. tbh i wish i had never met you as the time i spent consumed in the relationship i could have been doing other things and saving myself the agro. in some ways ive developed many more sides to my personality which im thankful for.. not lessons i shoudld want to have learned from a relationship. but lessons none the less. since splitting up my life has changed alot for the better and since turning 18 time has flown by and many exciting chapters have come and gone. more recently ive been excited of the prospect of ibiza and until this message you havent crossed my mind in a long time. very happy man. hope things are good for you but the cynic in me imagines you havent changed one bit. good riddance even if it took far to long to realise it

umm well if i could send a message to me for the year before now this is what i would have directed at myself..  dear past me. rather than falling in love with lucy ignore her texts no matter how much you want to reply to them or talk to her. dont scive school all the time cos its stupid and not cool and youll quickly fade from being popular to the guy that everyone used to know at school. also in the summer dont get extremely drunk on the day of exam results cos you dont wan’t to get chucked out of paramount and make gemma think your an ass. dont talk to gemma full stop even when you dont attend that night especially because you dont lose your pride in the way you did that night cos youll end up thinking she is an immature loser in 6 months time anyway. also stop being so shy in college in september as everyone in the class thinks your nice and would later comment on this. when you book ibiza make sure you put 500 quid in the bank to start your ssavings and for the love of fuck do not buy those lacoste leather boots cos youll get them wrecked on the first night you wear them. oh and in the winter stop being such a misserable ass to mum shes being a stubborn mule but if you smile at her when you come home from work it will make a difference and save you a rant 2 days before your birthday. and on the eve before your 18th dont get drunk and be hungover for your own birthday you complete mong. as for college pull your finger out your ass and complete your edinburgh report cos in may if you dont you will be sitting answering this ask while stressing over a report that you should be doing right now.  peace out past me :)
